Is it normal to have pain or sensitivity after treatment?

Some mild discomfort or sensitivity is normal after endodontic treatment, especially when biting or chewing. This typically improves over the next few days. Follow the post-operative instructions provided by our office and take medications as directed.

Can I eat normally after my procedure?

You can generally eat after treatment, but avoid chewing on the treated tooth until your permanent restoration is placed. Choose softer foods if the area feels sensitive, and avoid very hard or sticky foods that could damage a temporary filling.

What should I do if my temporary filling comes out?

If your temporary filling becomes loose or falls out, contact our office as soon as possible. Avoid chewing on that tooth and keep the area clean until you can receive further instructions from our team.

When should I contact the office after treatment?
